Dance Videos Made for a Stormy Day

As someone who has dancing on the mind for most of the day, an afternoon or two of searching for fun and interesting dance videos on YouTube is a treat. Starting with a line dance to Jingle Bell Rock, I hope you get a kick out of watching people across the world expressing themselves so freely. Indeed, viva la dance.

A carefree search on YouTube will likely yield some pretty fun dance videos.

Christopher Walken Mash-Up

Dance chameleon Christopher Walken has the moves.

According to the website Biography.com, “Ronald Walken, better known by the pseudonym Christopher Walken, was born on March 31, 1943, in Queens, New York. A performer since the age of 3, Walken started out as a dancer, taking lessons as a child. “It was very typical for people—and I mean working-class people—to send their kids to dancing school. You’d learn ballet, tap, acrobatics, usually, you’d even learn to sing a song,” he later explained to Interview magazine.” Get a load of his terrific dancing in this video.

What about this grandpa from South Africa? Sassy as all get-out!

Grandpa’s still got his groove 🕺🏿🔥🔥

In fact, it looks like he’s mixing it up with the Electric Slide. Here’s another version. To tell the truth, it doesn’t quite look the same.

And, if we’re looking at dance videos, we’ve got to include Bruno Mars.

To be sure, whoever put this mash-up together is a genius. To begin with, is there a more infectious song then Uptown Funk? Nah, I don’t think so. In addition, I’m loving the variety of characters who are performing, never thinking that, years later, we’d be following their every move.

I can’t think of a better way to spend a rainy day than sifting through these magical videos. Further, here’s a Dance Safari article to go along with this post, “YouTube Dance Videos You’re Gonna Love“. Above all, enjoy and have a great day!
