Living the Good Life

As summer is heating up here in North Carolina, I’m struck by how easy-going the people are.   Wonderful, lovely folks.

They don’t stress driving 2-3 hours to go to the beach.  Having lived in South Florida for over 30 years, that would be unthinkable to me.

It’s easy to go from downtown to the farmland in just a few minutes.  Went to pick blueberries the other day and was amazed by the 30-minute drive.  Went from city to acres of crops on a short trip.  sunflower

By the way, love my Florida blueberries and Jersey blues, but I have never tasted such a delectable little piece of fruit in my life.  It was a treat.

I’m learning more about my adopted state every day.  To help make that happen, one thing I’m doing is spending more time on Pinterest.  Wow, the information there is limitless.

You know ballroom dancing is my passion, but you can’t dance all the time.  You’ve got to spend time raising the kids, making and keeping friends and family happy, learning about better ways to do things.

Hope you’ll get a chance to visit Dance Safari on Pinterest.pick blueberriesBest,
